Floating Angel came about when I first returned to acrylic painting in the depressed winter of 2016. The canvas started as a palette for another painting and with three strokes or so of the palette brush covered with a royal purple acrylic, this was born.
I've recently framed the piece with a gold wood frame that complements the colors beautifully.
