We are constantly creating reality

As a long time creator myself with a background as a filmmaker, photographer, designer, painter, and writer a passage from a book I am reading as well as a portion of a related podcast episode really resonated with me. 

I want to share just a little portion with you here:

​Whatever you're doing right now, you are creating.

When you speak, you are creating words and conversations.

When you put bacon, lettuce, and tomato onto some slightly toasted bread with a little slab of mayo and a little salt and pepper, you just created a delicious BLT.

We create conversations, art, businesses, adventures, and life.

That's right. We are always and in all ways creating our own LIFE.

By wearing a certain outfit, you may be creating a man or woman dressed in blue. By reading this -post-, you are literally creating a person... reading.

So just by being, we are creating.

By being angry, we are creating an angry person. By being thankful, we are creating gratitude.

When we begin to choose what and who we create in our everyday experiences from a detached perspective, and we begin to build the mental and conscious muscle that gives us control over our thoughts, consistently and with purpose.

​The more we control our thoughts, the more we understand how we are actually creating our experience and the perception of that experience based on those thoughts.
